“Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Baldinger, 6839 Sherman street (sic), will go to New Orleans Friday for an indefinite stay with their son, E. B. Baldinger and his family. They will be accompanied by little Misses Rosslyn and Lois Baldinger, who will visit there also. During their absence, their home will be occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Percy Lynch of Galveston.” 1924 Houston Post society pages for Central Magnolia Park
I couldn’t figure out who these kids were for the longest time. They are the daughters of Frederick Andrew and Alice Baldinger, so E. E.’s granddaughters. Rosslyn is actually Alice Rosslyn. The girls were born in 1912 and 1914 (Lois), so would have been 12 and 10 for the trip to see their uncle and cousins. They would have met Uncle Ed (then 2) and Aunt Gayle (10 months).
